Short answer: On 27 October 2026, during LevelUp week, HighLevel posted two big updates to its changelog. First, TikTok Ads is now in Ad Manager, next to Meta, Google and LinkedIn, so you can build, publish, manage and measure TikTok Lead Generation campaigns without leaving HighLevel. Leads come in through TikTok Instant Forms or Direct Messages. Second, the AI Agent Action in workflows can now have its own hosted chat page: you share a link and your customers chat with the agent directly, with no website, widget or code. Visitors must sign in with an email that already belongs to a contact in your account.
Status check: both features are in HighLevel's official changelog, dated 27 October 2026. Neither entry mentions Labs, a beta or a staged rollout. I have not tested them in my own account yet, so the steps below follow HighLevel's changelog and menu names may look slightly different in yours. I will update this post once I have run them myself.
These two updates point the same way. Ads bring people in, and AI agents look after them once they are in. TikTok was one of the most requested ad channels, and until now agencies had to run it in a separate tool and pipe leads back. And workflow AI agents were stuck inside the workflow. Now customers can talk to them.
1. TikTok Ads in HighLevel Ad Manager
According to the TikTok Ads changelog entry, TikTok now sits in the same campaign builder you already use for Meta, Google and LinkedIn.
- Lead Generation campaigns: build TikTok lead gen campaigns in the same ad campaign builder as your other channels.
- Two ways to collect leads: Instant Forms, where people submit their details right from the ad, or Direct Messages, where prospects message your TikTok account. For DMs you can build a message template with a greeting and suggested questions, or set up an automated chat that collects contact details.
- Ad group controls: budget, schedule, bidding strategy and targeting by detailed interests and behaviours.
- Carousel image and video ads: upload several images or one video per ad, with a live preview of how it looks in supported TikTok placements before you publish.
- Reporting in one place: TikTok results show in Statistics next to your other channels, and TikTok campaigns appear in the same Campaigns table, where you can edit, pause, resume or duplicate them.
- Built-in checks: HighLevel says it catches missing details, unmapped forms and accounts that are not ready before you publish.
How to connect TikTok
- Go to Ad Manager > Settings > TikTok > Ad accounts and click Connect account. If you are new to Ad Manager, use Ad Manager > Connect TikTok.
- Click Connect TikTok Lead Ads, sign in with your TikTok account and approve the access.
- Pick your Business Center and Ad account, then click Save.
How to launch a campaign
- Go to Ad Manager > Campaigns > Create Campaign > TikTok > Start from scratch.
- In the Ad Group, choose the conversion location (Instant Form or Direct Messages), then set budget, schedule and audience.
- In the Ad, pick the destination (Instant Form or Direct Message template), select the TikTok account, upload your creative and add your ad text and call to action.
- Click Review, then Publish.
Watch out: if you want to use Instant Forms, you have to create them in TikTok Ads Manager first. HighLevel picks from your existing forms, it does not build them for you.
How I would use it for clients
The real win is speed to lead. When the TikTok lead lands in the same CRM as the rest of the funnel, your workflows, Conversation AI and Voice AI can reply in seconds instead of waiting for an export. For local service clients I would start with the Direct Messages option, because people on TikTok are far more likely to send a quick message than fill in a form, then follow up with an AI agent that books the call.
2. Shareable AI agents: a hosted chat page for any workflow agent
According to the Shareable Agents changelog entry, the AI Agent Action in workflows can now live on its own page. You turn on a hosted chat page, share the link, and customers chat with the agent directly.
- Hosted chat page: every AI Agent Action can get its own shareable link from the Share section.
- Verified visitors only: visitors sign in with their email and a one-time code, and that email must already belong to a contact in your account.
- Page appearance: set a display name, avatar initials and a welcome message.
- Suggested prompts: quick replies so visitors can start a chat in one click.
- Offline or Live: the page stays offline until you switch it on, you can preview it first, and you choose what visitors see while it is offline.
- Full chat experience: visitors can type or dictate, start a new chat and come back to past chats in the sidebar.
- Agent Chats: every session in one place, with each message, the tools the agent called and the tokens used.
How to set it up
- Go to Automation > Workflows and open your AI Agent Action.
- Scroll to Share and click Set up shareable link.
- Add the display name, avatar initials, welcome message, suggested prompts and unavailable message, then click Create link.
- Publish the workflow, then switch the hosted chat page from Offline to Live.
- Click Preview to see it as your customers will, then share the link.
- Review sessions any time from the agent chats in the Share section.
HighLevel's example: a support desk that never closes
In the changelog, the agent gets one instruction and the ticketing actions as tools (find a ticket, add a note, create a ticket and more). A signed-in customer asks for the status of their ticket and gets the status, owner and last update. They dictate two new bugs, which the agent adds as a note, then ask for a separate ticket, which the agent creates.
How I would use it for clients
Because visitors must already be contacts, this is not a lead capture widget. It is a customer portal you can build in an afternoon. I would use it for existing customers: "where is my order", "move my appointment", "what is on my account", or an onboarding helper you send after someone buys. Put the link in your welcome email and SMS follow-ups, and use the Agent Chats view every week to see which questions come up most and tighten the agent's instructions.
Why this matters for agencies
- One less tool for TikTok. Ads, leads, follow-up and reporting can now live in one account.
- Faster replies to paid leads. Leads land where your automations already run.
- AI agents become a product you can sell. A branded support or booking page is easy to show a client and easy to price.
- Proof you can show. Agent Chats shows every message, tool call and token, so you can report on what the agent did.
Limits and gotchas
- Instant Forms come from TikTok. Create them in TikTok Ads Manager before you build the campaign in HighLevel.
- Lead Generation campaigns. The changelog describes TikTok Lead Generation campaigns only, so do not promise other TikTok campaign types yet.
- Shared agents are for known contacts. A visitor's email must already be a contact, so cold visitors cannot chat.
- Every reply costs. HighLevel bills each visitor reply like an AI Agent execution, so watch usage on busy pages.
- The page is offline by default. It stays offline until the workflow is published and you switch it to Live.
- AI can be wrong. HighLevel shows a note to visitors saying so. Test the agent with your own contact record before you share the link.
